We meet on Saturday, in an 84° F heated indoor Pool, where you take your first exhilarating breaths underwater. Then at a relaxed pace, you learn and become familiar with all the equipment and skills necessary to become a safe diver. Saturday starts with scuba diving in the shallow end and progressing down to the deep end of the pool. Sunday starts with a few skin diving exercises, then we get into the scuba gear and continue our diving. You have to finish this before we can let you go to Open Water. You are also responsible for bringing your dive gear back to the store from the Pool. Hang up all wet suits on the drying rack. Regulator bags should be partially open for ventilation and the Buoyancy Control Device drained of water.
