The classroom sessions provide you with more information, checking your progress, holding discussions to expand your diving skills and knowledge to a professional level. Give you an opportunity to discuss and ask questions about what you're learning. After completing your studies, you'll take the Exams.

You'll find that during the course, your relationship with your instructor will differ in many respects from the one you've had in previous courses. Your instructor will be your guide, coach, advisor your mentor.

Two goals - to develop and evaluate your overall waterskills and stamina, and to improve upon your existing scuba skills. You'll complete several timed swims and other exercises in confined water, and you refine your basic scuba skills so that you can role model for beginning divers learning those skills. You'll also refresh and refine your rescue skills.

Training exercises like a mapping project, an underwater problem solving exercise, implementing a divemaster-conducted program and managing a dive accident scenario.

This is the most fulfilling part of the course; you'll learn and practice supervising diving activities and assisting with student divers and certified divers, under instructor supervision.

By the time you complete the course and earn the PADI Divemaster certification, you have accomplished a great deal and have taken your first solid steps into diving's leadership ranks. Think about it - it's an honor, but also a responsibility.
