Information on Our Store and Order by Mail Policy

Let's face it, some things should not be bought by mail-order; pacemakers, parachutes, spouses and scuba life support gear.

Some scuba equipment manufacturers outright prohibit mail order sales of their gear, others discourage it.

Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc. is in the storefront retail business.
Although we are not in the "mail-order" business, internet shopping mall etc.
we do at times, for the convenience of our customers, ship product by mail.
We are authorized dealers of the following manufacturers of life-support scuba equipment...

• International Divers
• Sherwood
• Submersible Systems

Each of these full-line manufacturers discourage, in one way or another, the sale of ANY of their products by mail or by internet.

The manufacturers have the right to choose who represents their product line. Its just good business. If a product line is not represented by a qualified network of authorized dealers, the product line soon looses its value.

BUT... WE DO WANT TO HELP YOU!

If you have questions about any equipment we handle we will do one or more of the following ;

1. Happily answer your questions as promptly and as accurately as possible.
2. Refer you to an authorized dealer in your area who can help you.
3. Refer you to the manufacturer.

We love to sell to you, but there may be a contract that prevents us.

Order Placement

By Mail:
Please use our fax order form, or send a personal letter. Specify item number, name, size, color, and quantity, and enclose check, money order, or credit card number with expiration date. Please also include a daytime phone number so we can reach if there is a problem. Mail to Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc., 2430 Alamo Ave. Suite 101, Albuquerque, NM 87106.

Payment

We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express from domestic and international customers. Money orders, bank checks, and certified checks are also accepted from domestic customers. Personal checks are accepted. Once the check has cleared your order will be shipped. We do not accept C.O.D. orders.

Shipping

Domestic:
We normally process and ship all orders within 24 hours. All orders are shipped UPS ground, unless you need it faster. The U.S. Postal Service is used for most areas. If you require your order to be shipped faster, 1 day, 2 day, and 3 day services are available. We will get the package to you where you want it and when you want it. Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc. charges an $8 per order, not item, shipping and handling fee. This handling fee is added to our actual shipping rate and is charged to all shipping prices regardless of weight, size, or cost. All items are shipped fully insured for the total valve of the purchase including shipping.

International:
Orders shipped overseas will be shipped with FedEx or UPS unless time is not a factor. The U.S. Postal Service will be used for orders when a guaranteed delivery date is not required. Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc. charges a $10 per order, not item, shipping and handling fee. This handling fee is added to our actual shipping rate and is charged to all shipping prices regardless of weight, size, or cost. All items are shipped fully insured for the total valve of the purchase including shipping.

Products

All items sold are new in original packaging from manufacturer along with original paperwork (instructions, warranty cards, etc.) All products carry a manufacturer's warranty and a Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc. warranty. The Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc. warranty is the same as any manufacturer's warranty. We will handle all warranty problems exactly like your local shop does.

Prices

All prices are reflected in US dollars. All prices on this web site are current. We make every effort to keep our web site up to date. In the event that there is a misprint, we reserve the right to correct copy or pricing to reflect actual current status. The customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs. International customers are responsible for all duties.

Returns/Exchanges

Before making a return to Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc., you must call our (505) 247-8632 customer service number for a return authorization number. All items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, with all original paperwork. Ship the item prepaid and fully insured to Sandia Snorkel and Scuba, Inc., 2430 Alamo Avenue SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Be sure to include a copy of your sales or packing slip and a note describing the problem with the item and what you want us to do (repair, replace, refund or issue a credit for future purchases). Used equipment can not be returned for refund. Once it is wet it is used. A 15% restocking fee will be charged for all returns. We do not honor returns or exchanges on special orders, custom orders, closeouts, or on discontinued items.

Government Agencies/Universities

We gladly accept P.O.s from universities, police, and fire departments. Ask for our special discounts.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates can be purchased in person, mail, fax, or e-mail using a credit card. They can be redeemed in person or by making an order. There are no cash refunds for gift certificates.
