 (Individually priced at 426.50)
  Age;  18
What will I need to start?  Advanced Open Water
Note;  We will familiarize us with the use of all the special equipment in the pool and in Perch Lake before we drive up to Colorado for the real thing.

Splash 1 Warm-Up for the Chill
     Start Here and Now
 Splash 1 Only:   $30.00
Registration: Come in and meet your instructor team and pick up your study material (book, video and misc. handouts)
We also take care of things like photo, insurance, class and pool reservation at that time.
As your time is very valuable, you can just give us a call or e-mail us and we will gladly send the study material to you.
Material: We recommend you to buy The Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving and also PADI's Dry Suit Manual. You are more than welcome to borrow the Dry Suit Video.
Classroom: During the classroom session we will be covering ice diving equipment and safety and emergency procedures with preparation and much more. We will explain the planning and organization and procedures and techniques and problems and hazards of diving under ice.
Equipment: We want to familiarize us with the use of special equipment and safety lines and signals and communications and line tending and line securing techniques and procedures

Splash 2 You will get Toasty when
Diving the pool and practice in a local lake
 Splash 2 Only:   $10.00
Equipment: In full ice diving gear (Dry Suit that is) we now dive the pool under a blanket of artificial ice. We recommend that you have your Ice Cap and Artic Hood and Gold Core Mitt or Gauntlet Glove on to get used to them.
Diving: During the pool session we will be hooking up to our safety lines and go through the actual diving procedures as buddy teams. If you have never been i a dry suit before, this pool session is required to be completed in your dry suit! It is highly recommended for everyone to complete the pool session no matter how experienced you are. We need equipment handlers, line tenders and all the support personnel ready for the real thing. After the pool, we head over to Perch lake for a grand rehearsal. You will find the experience highly beneficial in maximizing your enjoyment and comfort during the actual ice dives themselves. Ice diving may be a matter of mind over matter. Be prepared.

Splash 3 Now we are cooking
Twin Lakes - Here We Come!
 Splash 3 Only:   $406.50
Packing: We will be heading up to Twin Lakes near Leadville Colorado on Friday morning - about 7 hours driving - in order to set up the ice diving hut and to cut and prepare the hole for the dives on Saturday and Sunday. It is always appreciated if you help us out with this and you'll learn a lot about how to set up an area for ice diving. This it is not required.
Diving: We will meet up at one of the hotels in Twin lakes on Saturday morning at 7:00 am for breakfast and a briefing. On Saturday we will do two dives per student. These are usually done back to back in order to be as efficient as possible. However the experience is not just diving. Sunday we will get up and finish our final dive. After that we will all break down the hut and close up the hole.
Let's Party: You will be one of the few - the proud - a PADI ICE DIVER!
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded the certification. To be certified as an ice diver you have learned how to tend the lines for the divers with duties of the safety divers and lots of other essentials to make your future ice diving endeavors safe and fun and enjoyable.
